Rasa Fiesta Singapura Bar Adventures
When: Monday to Friday; 10 to 14 July

Where: Jiak Chuan Road

Why: Get ready to party until the sun comes up with the Rasa Fiesta that celebrates the ultimate beauty of rum. Traverse around the participating outlets with famous names like Potato Head Singapore and Lime House offering up nights of fun. Grab a rum map and hit the spots to collect points, and then redeem your rewards on 15 July with the Rasa Fiesta Block Party at Jiak Chuan Road!

STREAT
When: Friday and Saturday; 14 & 15 July

Where: Clifford Square

Why: Honestly, we Singaporeans have a soft spot for food, and this food festival will definitely excite. Taste the magic between chef Malcolm Lee (of the Peranakan restaurant Candlenut) and chef Willin Low (of Wild Rocket) in a three-course communal style meal, served in a pop-up restaurant. Nine vendors will also line the festival, providing classic Singaporean dishes with their own twist.

Thorny Temptations Buffet Extravaganza
When: From Friday; 7 July

Where: PARKROYAL on Pickering

Why: This is the one issue that divides many Singaporeans: durians, yay or nay? If you’re in full support of it, listen up. For SGD88++ for adults (and SGD58++ for children from 6 to 12), be prepared to be delighted by a series of dishes that will truly prove this fruit’s royalty status. Start the meal with delicious poached tiger prawn and durian mousse salad, continue on with the selection of mains (including durian ravioli) and conclude with pandan and durian crepes. Perfect from start to end.

Concert in the Gardens
When: Saturday; 22 July; 6pm to 7pm

Where: Singapore Botanic Gardens

Why: The Singapore Symphony Orchestra is hosting yet another concert in this series and, this time, they are working with The Straits Times. Grab your picnic mat and get ready to be greeted with the sounds of classical music, professionally performed by the musicians, and feel yourself instantly relaxing with the tunes. As with all of the other concerts at the gardens, be prepared for a large turnout!

Chang Sensory Trails 2017
When: Friday & Saturday; 7 & 8 July; 4pm to 11pm

Where: The Promontory @ Marina Bay

Why: If you love good music, beautiful artworks, and the taste of Thai food and Beer, this event will not disappoint. The Chang Sensory Trails is focused on giving you the Thai experience, right in your own country. Singapore’s lineup includes 12 greats restaurants like Tamarind Hill and Nara Thai Cuisine and an incredible array of performances like O.K Ready and The Good Life Project.

Blu Jaz 13th Year Anniversary
When: Saturday; 8 July; 6pm to 2am

Where: Blu Jaz Cafe

Why: Blu Jaz Cafe has always been an amazing place to grab good drinks, but they’re moving up a notch with the party this Saturday, celebrating their 13th anniversary with free entry and free shots for the first 100 customers! Come down early and leave late with the never ending list of entertainment that will provide you with a night of fun. There is also a lucky draw so prepare to leave with good gifts!

Sunset Social Market
When: Saturday & Sunday; 8 & 9 July; 3pm to 8pm

Where: Open Farm Community

Why: This two-day market is back once and again. But, instead of being held in the morning, this iteration happens as the sun goes down, making this a memorable event. Walk around with your handmade flower crown from the workshop, munch on delicious baked goods, and then walk through the gardens at Open Farm Community.

Picnic & Movies Under the Stars with Mini Adoption Drive
When: Saturday; 8 July; 4pm to 10pm

Where: CHIJMES

Why: Cuddle up with adorable little puppies and settle in to a wonderful picnic with your family and friends at this event hosted by CHIJMES. Find your best friend amongst the dogs here with partnering adoption centers like Cat Welfare Society, Noah’s Ark Cares, and Purely Adoptions, and then relax to watch Marley and Me with your newfound love. Kapok Garden Party

Where: National Design Centre

Why: Hong Kong brand Kapok has redesigned their flagship space and are inviting you to check it out. Held at the courtyard of the National Design Centre, find yourself being treated to good food and drinks from The Garden Slug and Tanuki Raw, and learn how to make greenery inspired ornaments and artworks in the workshops held, with a limited number of slots. So, what are you waiting for?

KOOZA by Cirque Du Soleil
When: 12 July to 20 August

Where: Next to Marina Bay Sands

Why: You might already have seen the blue and yellow Big Top being set up in the field next to Marina Bay Sands, but for those who haven’t heard or seen the news — Cirque Du Soleil is back, and it is better than ever! Be enthralled by their otherworldly movements as they swing fearlessly into the abyss, and gape in awe as your eyes remain fixated. This time, they are featuring jazz, funk, and Bollywood beats, so you know you’ll be in for a show like you’ve never seen before.
