The Improv Company Presents: PICARD

Where: 62B South Bridge Road
Why: Improvised comedy is clearly gaining some popularity in recent years. Singapore’s newest long-form comedy improv team, PICARD, are dying to show you just how weird and wonderful they can be. Tickets are going at $15 online and $20 at the door, so if you like some personalised comedy on a special night just for you, gather some good mates and head to 62B South Bridge Road for a real giggle fest.

The Art of Baking – Hands On Class

New2U Bazaar

Where: New2U Thrift Shop (SCWO), 96 Waterloo Street
Why: Spoil yourself without guilt this weekend at the much-awaited bi-annual New2U Bazaar, featuring pre-loved designer items, clothing, bags, accessories and household items starting at just $1! Yes, one dollar! All proceeds go toward Star Shelter, a temporary refuge for women and children who are victims of violence, and various SCWO initiatives.

If food is your thing, there’ll be plenty of chance to experience a gastronomical feast at the SAVOUR Gourmet 2016 festival, happening this weekend. Market-goers will have a field day at Loewen Gardens, while thrift shoppers will want to check out the New2U Bazaar at Waterloo Street for some pre-loved designer items and household items, all being sold off for a charitable cause. If you’re more into the art scene, we recommend checking out the Red Dot Design Museum this Friday – MAAD will be presenting yet another slew of creatives and local brands at their unique popup marketplace.
