Paris Fashion Week - Day 7: Stella McCartney to Saint Laurent
mis à jour le 4 May 2019 à 07:03Sensuality, fantasy and lightness, our favourite bits from the 7th day of Paris Fashion Week.

STELLA MCCARTNEY
Stella was just it - full of lightness and effortless ease. Filled with a whole lot of movement thanks to the use of lightweight materials such as linen, the collection was infinitely breezy. In addition, the final printed canvases laid delicately on the body was reminiscent of a giant scarf that you would otherwise tie around the neck. Stella McCarney essentially showed that the strength of a women evidently grows from fragility.
SONIA RYKIEL
Sexy, seventies chic, sensual and free, four words that defines the women at Sonia Rykiel. For next summer, expect to be dressed in white and fringe as you reveal some skin. However, if you fancy, Rykiel has the option of covering up in mesh or fur jackets as well. Ultimately, the collection celebrates a juxtaposition of nomadic or fantasy-like tendencies with practical silhouettes.
ELIE SAAB
Trust Elie Saab to send down the runway a whole line up of dreamy dresses in floaty silhouettes. It was understated yet elegant and exquisite in true Elie Saab style. His divine creations in dominantly blue and green colours transfixed us as we gear up to plunge into the waters of the Mediterranean.
SAINT LAURENT
This season, Saint Laurent introduced slightly more colour and prints into the mix for a subtle youthful vibe. From mini sequined dresses, to plunging necklines, mini shorts and skinny leather jackets, there is definitely a lot more on show this time. In addition, the 70s inspiration took to extremes as turbans, sandals and and leopard print neck scarves were clearly a focal point. And as usual, Hedi Slimane continues to seduce us through his clever associations with the rock spirit.
