Niños vs. Moda: Children react to models in fashion campaigns

Some of the biggest fashion houses tend to create campaigns laden with absurd poses - here's what kids think about them.

Kids are never one to shy away from speaking their minds - cue all the varied 'Children react to...' videos that feature unabashed honesty. So it was only a matter of time before someone decided to show the little tots some questionable fashion campaigns supposedly created in the name of art, to seek out their unapologetic opinions.

Which is exactly what the Spanish artist, Yolanda Domingues did with her Niños vs. Moda project. Calling upon 8 year-old school children, the artist got them to describe their thoughts on a variety of real fashion campaigns created by leading brands. While it may seem as though Domingues specifically chose the most absurd of campaigns, it's also worth noting that she does raise questions about how different male and female campaigns tend to be.

By and large, women are shown in weird, contorted poses, appearing mentally unstable while men are given 'superhero-like' personas with strong demeanours. Go ahead and give the video a full look and you'll realise just how effortlessly the young minds managed to decode the gross inequality between campaigns.

After all, kids always happen to know the best words, don't they?
