Due to the waterproof ingredients or higher content of oil found in commonly used eye makeup products such as eyeliner, mascara and eye shadows, it is very important to remove all traces of makeup so as to not clog your pores and cause potential eye infections.
When it comes to removal techniques, start off by saturating a cotton pad with product. Gently place the pads on your eye area and wait for a few seconds so as to allow the product to break down the makeup product. Then wipe away the product using circular motions. Be sure to use as little pressure as possible to avoid tugging on the delicate area around your eye.
