Asia's Got Talent: Philippine's El Gamma Penumbra wins the show
mis à jour le 3 May 2019 à 18:17After weeks of auditions and semi finals, the inaugural Asia's Got Talent came to a resounding close last night, revealing the show's first winning act!

Last night, Asia spoke loud and clear as they furiously voted for the Philippine act, El Gamma Penumbra and pushed them through to the top 2 acts of the inaugural Asia's Got Talent. The other was, rather unexpectedly, Mongolian throat singing band, Khusugtun.
Finally declared winner, the 12 member strong team of El Gamma Penumbra brought home the coveted Asia’s Got Talent title, prize award of USD100,000. Additionally, JetStar added USD10,000 worth of flights to its network of 60 destinations across 16 countries in Asia, which were shared between the top two acts.
El Gamma Penumbra's winning act at the Grand Final saw them performing to the song, Colors of the Wind, where the shadow dancers dedicated their performance to the importance of environmental conservation, bringing Anggun to tears.
"Thank you so much for all the support and prayers for El Gamma Penumbra. We've been dreaming of this for a long time. Now that we've reached our dream it's time for us to pay it back by giving wonderful and inspiring performances. Thank you to the Judges who inspire us to be more like you, to all Filipinos, to AXN, and to FremantleMedia for giving us the opportunity to perform on ‘Asia's Got Talent’,” said Marvin Mendoza Marfa of El Gamma Penumbra.
Throughout it all, we have to say the first edition of Asia's Got Talent was quite the thrilling ride where we were treated to a host of talented individuals and groups - though some were downright bizarre and frightening. We even got to witness what Singapore had to offer on the talent front, whether it was Fathin Amira with her powerful vocals or the young tap dance group, Dance Thrilogy.
Now, all we can do is wait for the next cycle of Asia's Got Talent to hit and we'll be back at it again, catching all the remarkable acts from the region. Whoever said Asia was boring or had nothing to show were clearly wrong, very wrong. Asia's definitely Got Talent.
