FOTD: Rochas Fall/ Winter 2014 runway makeup look

Skip the liner and go crazy with your lashes for the upcoming festivities. Here’s how to recreate this simple look.

Rochas

Trust us when we say 2015 will be all about lashes. Instead of having your lids decked out in bold liner, it’s time to switch out your eyeliner with a good, trusty mascara that will give you lashes for miles.

By taking our cues from the runways of Rochas Fall/ Winter 2014, here are a few simple tricks to achieving flutter-worthy lashes. Here, it’s important to ensure that the attention stays fixated on your eyes, so go simple with the skin by sweeping a lightweight powder all over your face for a natural finish. Fill in your brows with a light brown shade (dependent on the colour of your eyebrow hairs) and use the spoolie brush in the direction of your temples to smooth your hairs down while creating a slightly unruly look – you don’t want it to appear too prim and perfect.

On to the fun part. Go crazy with your lashes by piling it on with a voluminising mascara. Remember to follow the holy grail mascara technique by coating each lash from roots to tips in a zig-zag fashion. Try about 2-3 coats and don’t forget the lower lashes as well.

To top off the look, keep your lips subtle with a light nude pink lipstick for just a hint of colour.

And now you’re all set to hypnotise your guests during the festivities!
