IOMA: 'Ma Crème', my haute-couture beauty treatment
mis à jour le 4 May 2019 à 11:48With this personalized care amongst 40,257 possible combinations, IOMA made a remarkable entrance in bespoke cosmetics.

Is there really any woman on the face of this earth who does not dream of having HER cream, tailored uniquely to the needs of her skin of the moment? Ioma, that brand that is growing and revolutionising the tailor-made market with the launch of the day and night Ma Crème, obtained from two active bases, 8 serums, 40 doses, totalling in 40,257 possibilities.
The brand philosophy:
IOMA is THE brand of skin diagnosis. Not any sort of little, hastily-made diagnosis, and to the naked eye, by health experts. No, no. Here, we are talking about technology. And not just any technology, we are talking about MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems), you know? Wait – you don’t?
Hate to prove you wrong, but you actually live with it without knowing even it. In aeroplanes for example, MEMS are in the altitude sensors of aircrafts. Recently, they made a trip to Mars in the sensor that detected the presence of water on the Red Planet. Is it just a pile of science fiction? Not really, because we can find MEMS in the first artificial human heart.
So MEMS are some serious technology. But what relationship do they have with your skin, your cream and your bathroom..? Well, it is these very MEMS that are at the origin of the brand’s latest innovation: Ma Crème. It is thanks to them, that IOMA can accurately (and within minutes) diagnose your skin, via the devices available at all the outlets (currently in Singapore at Robinsons Orchard and Isetan). And it is still thanks to MEMS that the IOMA Factory (basically, a device containing all the technology in a cosmetics factory, in transportable version available at outlets) is able to diagnose your skin right in front of your eyes. IOMA Factory is the first laboratory of personalized treatments, miniaturized and mobile.
Ioma is the only brand with the slogan: philosophy by evidence – not evidence of the results of the treatment, but of the results on your skin. Let me explain. MEMS allow a hyper accurate diagnosis of your skin. The data is recorded and a beauty prescription is prescribed. A few weeks later, you can see and compare the changes on your skin. Not that crazy after all, is it?
How the device works:
The IOMA devices detect skin imperfections invisible to the naked eye by analysing the skin layer by layer, to the deepest ones, for an accurate reading of the skin in a targeted and multi-dimensional manner.
The areas under analysis: hydration, redness, spots, firmness, wrinkles, the level of cell renewal... All this data is analysed and synthesized into a 7 digit number. To date, more than one million diagnoses have been made.
How does it work? We show you in pictures in the slides above.
Note: Skin diagnosis is available at all outlets, completely free-of-charge.
The treatment:
The box contains an active base, in a light and fluid form for day, and a rich and creamy one for the night - 8 vials of serum, with a number of pipettes to add to the original formula. There is a minimum of 1 and maximum of 9 pipettes of serum. In total 40,257 possible options for a unique cream, only yours, which takes into account all aspects of beautiful skin from the inside and out.
On top of the creams, Ioma has also launched a take-me-home device, IOMA Youth Booster, with MEMS sensors, which you can use to diagnose your skin at home, and keep track on your skin condition to adjust your need for cream application. The Youth Booster is available at all Ioma counters (approx. USD185).
Our opinion
I have been using My Night Cream for a few weeks. I have not always been faithful, but I appreciate it more and more as I pick it up each evening and tell myself that it is unique, really mine and only mine. And for a made-to- measure cream, with all the technology to boot, the price is high but quite reasonable when you consider that this is haute-couture treatment with provable results for your skin.
Ma crème jour, Ma crème nuit (available at all IOMA counters, approx. USD190 for each 50 ml set)
