This winter coat trend is taking South Korea's streetstyle by storm

Although we will never get to experience winter here in sunny Singapore, you might be curious to find out the winter trends going on in other parts of the world especially Korea, one of Asia's most fashionable countries. This year, the long padded jackets are taking their turn in the spotlight.
With temperatures dropping nationwide, they have become very trendy among Korean high school students and adults. But it's no secret, it's mainly worn for fashion because many Korean celebrities are seen sporting the padded jackets too.
Padded jackets can go up to about 500,000 won (approximately SGD620) and popular brands like North Face and Nike have sold out on them everywhere in stores and almost impossible to keep in stock. Yes - it is that popular.
So, what do you think about the 2018 Korean winter trend? More importantly, is it worth the hefty price tag?
