Ultra Violet: How to wear Pantone's 2018 Colour of the Year this Christmas

"Ultra-violet" is officially the 2018 colour of the year according to Pantone, who described the shade as "dramatically provocative and thoughtful" in its announcement. "This shade is one of nonconformity," shares Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of Pantone. "People are looking for ways to display creativity."
And nonconforming it certainly is - at least, sartorially. To ease yourself into wearing this shade, start with a statement ultra-violet accessory - like a pair of boots or earrings - to accent a casual denim look. But if you're one to dabble on the more experimental side of fashion, go for an ultra-violet separate - like a pair of stunning culottes or bold metallic dress.
