As if the coffee here wasn't already reason to go, we love that their full English breakfast comes with poached eggs... adding an elegant twist to this pub-grub classic!

Drury Lane
Although the name suggests everything English about this Tanjong Pagar spot, the breakfast is anything but. Forgot your usual English brekkie; these guys have put a local spin on it with curried beans, sambal mushrooms and kaya toast. It's definitely East meets West in this well-known cafe - and we love it.

House at Dempsey
House at Dempsey used to be an old British military barracks, which has clearly rubbed off on their authentic English Breakfast to date, because boy is it good. Their 'housefull breakfast' comes with all the trimming as well as a cheddar scone. We also highly recommend their other brunch options - yep, pretty much all of them.
