Knowing that our beauty cabinet never sees the same product twice, we were more than excited to adopt these new products previewed at BeautyAsia 2015.

One of the biggest highlights at BeautyAsia 2015 was this genius of an invention that will give you a whole lot more wear for your nail polishes by transforming them into gel polish. All you have to do is apply Stick It to clean dry nails and mix equal parts polish with Fix It before applying the mixture onto your nails. Thereafter dry them in UV or LED light.

Cailyn O Wow brushes
Is that a toothbrush, a hair brush or a sponge? None of the above. It's in fact a makeup brush. The densely packed velvet-like bristles makes for a much more flawless application of foundation. Additionally, it doesn't tug on the skin and create unsightly streaks - could this be the future of brushes?

If it's still not apparent enough, let's just say that the beauty industry is one that never ceases to operate. There is always the hunt for new ingredients, formulations and packaging just so new products are constantly churned out to keep their brand on consumers' lips at all times. Repeat that for the hundreds or rather thousands of brands all over the world and you've got yourself a mammoth-sized beauty machine.

To keep up with all that's new, beauty conventions and fairs are held globally to bring in trade professionals and industry players as they watch brands roll out their next big thing. Singapore, for instance hosted the 19th regional beauty trade show, BeautyAsia, where brands from across the region and internationally presented their line up of novel and unique products in the market.

Considering how we're hungry for anything inventive in the industry, we jumped on this chance to unearth some interesting finds that we'll be adding to our beauty cabinets. From salmon roe-infused eye patches to polish that turns regular nail lacquer into gel polish and hair care crafted from black garlic, here's why you should jump on the bandwagon too!
