Why: The Alliance Française de Singapour audience will get the one last chance to see on a big screen in Singapore, the exhilarating, astounding and electrifying story of a young drummer enrolling in a music conservatory. After the movie, if spectators still believe jazz is all about freedom and relaxation, they can take part in a live jazz concert held in the lobby and chill out at pop-up stands serving food and drinks!

Why: The 2nd Annual Alcolympics is upon us, so get ready to snap on that headband, put on your drinking shoes, and get guzzling.

There'll be loads of booze-related games for both solo and team drinkers, so if you fancy yourself an alcohol athlete, prove it and you'll stand to win prizes and, well, free beer!

Fete de la Musique or World Music Day will be on this weekend and while it also marks the beginning of summer in other seasonal countries, for us all it means is a day to celebrate with some auditory pleasure.

So head on down to the slew of events - including a Game of Throne's inspired exhibition - and allow yourself to disconnect from work, at least for a little. You do deserve it after all.
