As the fifth season of our favourite series is coming to a close next week, here’s a flashback of all the beautiful hairstyles seen on the show.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, we have no doubt that you’ve heard of the Game of Thrones – that is if you’re not already a fan of it by now.
As fans of the hit series ourselves, we are passionately enthralled by the clans (Stark, Lannister, Baratheon and Tyrell) who are battling to sit on the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms. Throw in a civil war, magical creatures and countless love stories, and we are addicted!
The series has won numerous awards from acting to costumes and set – and perhaps not surprisingly, the hairstyles! Kevin Alexander is the genius behind these capillary creations that have impressed many viewers and beauty enthusiasts. His works have been rewarded by nominations at the Primetime Emmy (2011, 2012, 201) and the ODTA Television Awards where he won in 2013.
While some actresses wear wigs made of real hair like Daenarys, others have real buns like Margaery. Their hairdos have inspired many tutorials on Youtube and Pinterest and people who want to copy (within reason) these creations are on the rise. Tempted?
