The stars came out to play over the weekend - we've picked some of the best outfits of the lot.

Rebecca Romijn never fails to disappoint. The stunning actress-model looks particularly charming in this above-knee mini dress. Rebecca is known to dress sexy at most events, and as far as we can tell, she's showing no signs of stopping any time soon!

Rihanna turns this simple outfit into a fierce statement, with her pointed heels and open-neck button-up dress flaunting some serious collar bones.

Ciara sported some serious bling at the Billboard Music Awards this year, arriving in a stunning floor-length silver number. The metallic shine sure matches well with her bronzed skin tone.

Actress Jessica Alba has decided to rock the goth chick look, arriving in an interesting black lace skater dress with long sleeves and a high-neck collar. We're loving how her thigh-high boots complete this all-black ensemble.

This recording artist knows what's going on. We're loving this floor-length maxi dress - it hugs Ariana's curves in all the right places and makes her look poised and perfect.

Not a lot of people can pull off the sexy red latex look, but apparently Keke Palmer can. Major props to the recording artist for daring, and actually succeeding.

Kesha has opted for an intriguing colour choice this time around, and we actually kind of dig it. The purple ensemble goes well with the white-shirt-block-heels thing she has going.

An impressive starburst print dress. We aren't sure if anyone else can pull off this dress as well as Lindsey Stirling can.

Ciara had the silver thing going on with her dress. Celine's jumped on the bandwagon with the shimmery material and donned a reflective gold number that left stars in everyone's eyes.

Lucy Hale looks adorable in this sweet two-piece getup. A plum top and a black mini, both intricately embroidered with lace, makes for an elegant and minimal look.

Kate Beckinsale
This unique figure-hugging number makes Kate Beckinsale look gorgeous and definitely prepared to stun the cameras. White looks good on the actress, for sure.

Talk about a red carpet event that blew us away. Sure, award ceremonies like the much-anticipated Oscars and the star-studded Golden Globes may take the cake for glitzy glamour and luxurious outfits, but at the Billboard Music Awards, we get to see celebrities and music artists show off their true colours in style. Take, for example, Jessica Alba, who decided to show us all how to rock a goth chick outfit this year in an all-black ensemble, and check out Kesha's embroidered purple getup - she definitely made us look twice.
