Cannes Film Festival 2016: 12 Most beautiful red carpet looks
updated the 16 May 2016 à 14:53All eyes were on the fashion-forward stars at the 69th Cannes Film Festival this week – we’ve curated the best looks that have wowed us.
The festivities for this year’s star-studded Cannes Film Festival have finally wrapped up this week. For the third time in a row at the opening ceremony, guests were treated to the premiere of a film by Woody Allen: Café Society, an American romantic comedy-drama starring Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively, Jeannie Berlin and Jesse Eisenberg.
Every year in May, the Croisette finds itself, at least for a few days, the center of attention. It is when professionals and cinema lovers from around the world flock to discover a selection of more-than-promising films.
This red carpet event, of course, attracts some fashionable stars and we’ve indeed spotted some amazing outfits that have been paraded around this year. We have to say, the bar has been set very high this year! Among the best: Kristen Dunst in a floral dress with poppies by Gucci, and Bella Hadid in a show-stopping Roberto Cavalli number.
We’ve also noted the ever-radiant Julianne Moore dressed by Riccardo Tisci in Givenchy, as well as Jessica Chastain, who lit the grey sky of Cannes in her cheerfully yellow Armani Privé dress.
