If you’ve been hard partying over the weekend, and had (unintendedly) missed out on this year’s biggest night in Hollywood—read on for our top highlights from the show, including your favourite Star Wars’ droids taking over the night.

And, the headline from this year’s Oscars: Leonardo DiCaprio wins an Oscar after 20 years. Good going Leo!

The 88th Academy Awards is undoubtedly the biggest event in Hollywood and it saw us through aplenty of tears, hugs and some yelping— all while the talents were being recognised for their hardwork and contributions in the form of the iconic Oscars statuette and of course, media coverages and social media fame.

Though we were disappointed at Star Wars’ zero wins from its five nominations, we were heartened with Lady Gaga’s meaningful effort in eradicating rape cases in America.

Other special highlights include best actor Leonardo DiCaprio calling for climate change in his acceptance speech, cutest co-stars best actress Brie Larson and mini Jacob Tremblay, Chris Rock’s monologue and unexpected win from best supporting actress Alicia Vikander.

One word’s for it—phenomenal.
