There's no doubt that celebrities brought their beauty A-game to the 2014 American Music Awards. Amongst stars like Jennifer Lopez, Nicky Minaj and Kendall Jenner - we were drawn to Lucy Hale's stunning dark lip. So if you're a fan of the hit TV series Pretty Little Liars - you'll love this.
To recreate her sophisticated look, start off with a mattifying foundation - apply more product to problematic areas (acne, redness). Brighten your eyes by applying a radiance-boosting concealer on your dark circles - make sure this product is 1-2 shades lighter than your foundation. Once done, go in with a contouring product that is suited to your skin tone. Suck in your cheeks, and gently fill in the hollows (making sure to blend, blend, blend!). Take the same product under your jawline and around your temples.
Because Hale chose to go for a deep lip colour, she kept it simple with the eyes. Use your favourite duo of black liner and mascara to achieve the same look - bringing the liner on your upper lash liner, lower lash line and in the waterline.
Time for the lips. Line and fill your lips with a deep violet lip liner to ensure the product will last all day and won't bleed. Fill in the entire area with M.A.C's sin lipstick (one of our personal favourites).
