Having teamed up with famous names such as Louis Vuitton and Issey Miyake, leading icon of the Tokyo contemporary art scene, Takashi Murakami returns with yet another collaboration to create an exclusive holiday collection for Japanese beauty brand Shu Uemura‘s 30th anniversary.
Entitled the 6HP (i.e. Six Hearts Princess), this collection – inspired by Murakami’s own animation projects – focuses primarily on two colors, pink and black. The contrasting tones reflect the duality within every single woman; sweet yet sexy, naughty yet nice.
And as expected from such a great artist, Murakami has created a stunning unique packaging featuring the pink and black princesses, which will undeniably appeal to any woman who wants to feel like royalty – or a Manga one for that.
We have to say, this is probably the collaboration we’re anticipating the most for this holiday season and we’re behaving our best so Santa can perhaps drop one of these gorgeous items in our sock this year; Preferably one of our picks below.
