Olivier Rousteing broke the big news at the Billboard Music Awards with Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn in tow.

Since 2004, H&M has constantly collaborated with international designers and style icons from Karl Lagerfeld to Alexander Wang, Versace, Isabel Marant and even Beyonce on capsule collections and specially created campaigns. Now, the next big fashion collaboration with the Swedish retail giant is here and it’s none other than Parisian fashion house Balmain.

Designer Olivier Rousteing waited till the Billboard Music Awards to make the big announcement, roping in Balmain favourites Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn to drum up publicity and anticipation on Instagram. The current IT-models debuted the first looks from the upcoming collection on the red carpet at the BMA’s.

The French fashion brand known for its bold designs and Balmain Army (that includes Blake Lively and Adriana Lima) is the latest to partner with the giant high street retailer, following in the footsteps of Alexander Wang last September. Expect to see lots of beading, braided fabrics, intricate details and satin and silk, classic signatures of the Balmain brand.

If you’ve been a fan of the fashion house but unwilling to fork out thousands for a clothing item, this is the collection you won’t want to miss! Start lining up now — this is sure to be one of H&M‘s biggest collaborations yet.

The Balmain x H&M collaboration will be available from 5 November in 250 stores worldwide and online.
