Singapore gets a taste of the premium grass-fed Robbins Island Wagyu and Stefano Lubiana wines – flown in especially from Tasmania.

Red meat lovers, rejoice! From now until October 31, you’ll be able to try a very special variety of Wagyu flown especially from Tasmania right to The Grand Hyatt Hotel in Singapore. During the coming two months, The hotel’s Mezza9 restaurant is offering a special menu featuring Australia’s finest grass-fed Wagyu (BMS 7+) from Robbins Island accompanied by a select range of sparkling wine, Pinot Noir and Merlot from Tasmania’s first certified organic vinyard Stefano Lubiana – paired to complement the dishes to perfection.

The promotion is an opportunity to get a taste of this uniquely-flavoured Wagyu which is served only in a few restaurants outside of Australia.

The cattle from Tasmania’s North Western tip graze naturally and sustainably on grass and as a result the meat is more tender and flavourful, and contain a high in concentration of Vitamin A as well as other nutritions compounds.

Must-try dishes

While the heavenly char-grilled steak is no doubt the highlight of this carnivorous menu (preferably consumed with only a few pinches of salt and a glass of Stefano Lubiana’s smooth well-balanced merlot), the internationally-inspired – and lighter – dishes on the menu are not to be missed as well.

Created so that every cut is utilised to its maximum potential, the menu includes a must-try juicy Thai beef salad (nua nam tok) made of grilled Wagyu beef rump, thai parsley, mint, spring onions which makes a perfect light starter.

And if you’re in the mood for trying something slightly more unusual, we recommend you go for the Wagyu Oyster Blade Tartare finished with Single Malt dressing and a slow-cooked egg yolk on top.

Running only for a couple of month, this one is an opportunity that carnivorous foodies would not want to miss!
