Wimbly Lu Chocolate Cafe
This locally owned cafe has been around since 2013 at Jalan Riang and it serves mouthwatering chocolate desserts such as its signature Chocolate Tofu Cake (SGD5) and the Root Beer Cake with Vanilla Ice cream (SGD6), pictured here. It also has a smaller outlet in Serangoon Gardens that opened up last year which serves everything is half-portions as well.

Laurent at Portsdown Restaurant
Part of the Laurent Bernard Chocolatier family, this French chocolate boutique sells quality pralines as well as tempting desserts. Personally we love the Chocolate Tarte (SGD61) with its chocolate filling resting atop hazelnut feuilletine. So satisfying!

Cocoa Colony
A golden tap with pure chocolate running through its pipes? Shut up and take our money! This brand new addition to the chocolate cafe scene combines the two best things on earth - chocolate and peanut butter. The resulting gelato (SGD4.90-SGD6.30) is doused in pure chocolate sauce. The shop also serves hot chocolate laced with potent liqueurs like Cointreau and Baileys for that extra kick.

Max Brenner Chocolate Bar
Playfully subtitled with Chocolate by The Bald Man (obviously referring to chocolatier Max Brenner), this American chain opened up its first outlet at the Esplanade more than five years ago and it has expanded to other parts of the island since. Known for its playful almost child-like wonder chocolate desserts, you can enjoy creations like a chocolate pizza and different combinations of fondue ranging from churros to the classic fruit and marshmallow.

Awfully Chocolate
One of the first local chocolate cafes to ever hit town, Awfully Chocolate has made us proud by going global. Who can forget their lush and dense chocolate cake with rum, banana, or pure chocolate ganache? Or even their super premium Hei dark Belgian chocolate ice cream? It prides itself on low air content resulting in that rich taste we know and love.

Everyone’s favourite chocolate maker, Michele Ferrero passed over the weekend on Valentine’s Day but that shouldn’t stop you from indulging in chocolate altogether. Here’s where you can go to get your chocolate fix in Singapore.

The world spun into a tizzy when everyone’s favourite candyman and chocolate maker, Michele Ferrero – genius behind the delectable Nutella spread, Ferrero Rocher and Kinder chocolates – passed away on Valentine’s Day.
