We have to say, these two comical dudes sure have chemistry and such intense chemistry that their comedic timing never goes awry. Without much effort, they managed to get everyone in splits, laughing over their hilarious quips, snide jibes, bumbling antics and all round perfect partnership. It was a rapturous night all thanks to these two, who did not leave any stone unturned.

Ranveer Singh recites poem to Deepika Padukone
Everyone knows that Ranveer Singh has a thing for Deepika Padukone and the two make the cutest couple. So Ranveer, being the hopeless romantic he is, got down on one knee to recite a hindi poem for his sweetheart. And the fact that they're wearing matching colours only served to increase the awww meter in the audience.

Shahid Kapoor
In case you weren't aware, the Best Actor of the night started in Bollywood as a backup dancer back in the 90s. So it comes as no surprise that everyone is always excited to watch the young actor work up a storm on the stage with his faultless and swift moves. Boy did he turn up the heat last night.

Deepika Padukone
The beautiful Deepika Padukone who has starred in multiple movies since 2013, took home the well-deserved award for IIFA Woman of the Year. “This one is for the millions of women who inspire me everyday,” gushed Deepika as she accepted the trophy. Well, Deepika, you're the woman who inspires millions of others too.

Tiger Shroff
Heading up to accept his award for Best Debut (Male) for Heropanti, Tiger Shroff dabbled in a little dance showdown with hosts Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor and actor Hrithik Roshan. That quickly turned into a celebration of Tiger Shroff's acrobatic abilities as he somersaulted his way out of there.

DDLJ Tribute
In a bid to honour the classic film, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge's successful run of 1000 weeks at a cinema in India, the hosts, Ranveer and Arjun reenacted the famous train scene on stage. They did the sequence by reimagining how the scene would be played out if directed by current Bollywood directors such as Prabhudheva, Karan Johar, Abbas Mustan and Anurag Kashyap.
At least now we know how Ranveer looks like with long(er) hair.

Hrithik Roshan
Finally, to end the night, Hrithik Roshan took to the stage with his exceptionally flexible body that saw him move like a slitering snake. Coupled with those green eyes of his, it was one phenomenal performance that possibly got everyone grooving in their seats, bringing the night to an incredible high!

From Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor’s impeccable witty quips that riled up audiences to the slew of electrifying performances, here are all the best moments from the award show.

What came to a resounding and celebratory close last night in Kuala Lumpur was Bollywood’s biggest night in cinema, the 16th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards. Hosted by the exceptionally dynamic duo, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, the entire ceremony was filled with boisterous laughs, witty quips and dazzling dance performances. After all, Bollywood never falls flat on the glamourous factor.

The top honours of the night went to Haider and Queen who swept the awards table, with Queen bagging Best Movie as well. Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut also took the award for Best Actor and Actress in Haider and Queen respectively.

As for the performances, there were one too many that got us completely star struck. From B-town’s most impeccable dancers, Hrithik Roshan and Shahid Kapoor’s electrifying moves to Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s debut performance and Sonakshi Sinha who completely stole the show with her exceptionally energetic persona, our eyes never quite left the stage.
