Zoo Johor
For a happy day strolling with the kids surrounded by wildlife, visit the Zoo Johor. It’s the perfect setting for the entire family to enjoy. You can walk around, admire the animals, grab a bite to eat, and spend a couple of hours of carefree exploration. It’s quite affordable, and along with being a fun experience for the children, it can also be quite educational. Which is like hitting two birds with one stone for the parents.

Legoland Malaysia
If you’re a kid at heart, you’re going to love the land of Legos. Parents, you won’t step on any lego blocks that will spark up your rage, we promise. It’s a happy, colourful oasis for the kids and it’s quite popular with the adult tourists too. There’s also a Legoland Hotel if you want to be close to all the entertainment, and it won’t hurt your pockets too much. Halloween night at Legoland is an extra bonus, but if you’re not there for the holidays, kids will love all the rides regardless, as this place is the true representation of family fun.

Laser Battle
If you have ever considered going paintballing with your kids, consider the more modern version of it – Laser Battle. Your kids are going to love having cool parents who take them to laser enjoy, while you get to enjoy being in a place that caters to families, with friendly staff and a less common activity your kids can’t play around the house.

Permas Go Kart
It’s all fun and games when you decide to test your driving skills at the Permas Go Kart circuit. Moms and dads, get your helmets on because it’s time to show the kids who’s the boss. It’s not as colourful as Legoland but we're sure your kids will love being able to speed around the circuit and to pretend to be the fastest race car drivers in the world.

Austin Heights Water & Adventure Park
This is a family entertainment complex that features a water park, an adventure park, an ice-skating rink, Trampoline Park, and a drifting track. We think that’s enough to conclude you’re guaranteed to spend an exciting day with the entire family. After you’ve tested out all the water slides, and the adventurer in your kid needs to take a rest, you can take a break at one of the many restaurants and coffee houses nearby.

Kuso 3D Trick Art
This is one of the best places for the entire family, designed to draw a smiles on everyone's faces. That’s right, you’re not going to walk out of here without feeling at least a little bit impressed. This is the one and only destination in Johor Bahru that offers a 3D trick art experience. You can stroll through different settings and themes. Imagine all the amazing family pictures you can create here with your little ones!

Zenxin Organic Park
Turning the page over to family fun outdoors, the Zenxin Organic Park is the first publicly open organic farm in Malaysia that is available for tourist exploration. Your entire family can take a tour of the farm by foot or by bicycle, get to know more about animals and plants that are part of the farm, and get your hands on a delicious organic meal prepared as a part of your tour. If you thought staring at a fresh flower bouquet at your home isn't enough nature for the kids, you might want to take them here, and show them the other side of farming. It’s definitely different from other amusement parks, but a valuable experience for the entire family.

Angry Birds Activity Park
If you really want to indulge your kids, this place is going to make their eyes sparkle. This activity park should be on your list of must-visit places as a family, because it’s packed with fun activities that will keep you busy the entire day (it’s open from 10am till 10pm!). And since it’s an indoor park, you won’t have to worry about your kids wandering away.
