Be it winter or summer, sunglasses will always find their place on our faces. Here’s our pick of the new year’s best styles.
The importance of sunglasses is not an understated one. Aside from their original purpose, they carry a bevy of other useful benefits. They aid in covering up signs of late nights or early mornings and in most cases are the finishing touches to a well-put together outfit. In an age where first impressions are made within fleeting seconds, you could be sure to hook people in with sunglasses.
For 2014, the trends are fairly consistent with what we covered earlier in the year. You can expect oversized, cat eye, circular and of course the classic wayfarer frames. All of these though have been given a hint of individuality by way of embellishments and re-working the proportion of the frames, to give it an angular edge.
This time round, we strayed away from picking out exciting, avant-garde pieces (we really tried hard) so as to give your more classic and versatile options that will go with most outfits. After all, the perfect sunglasses should be your comforting companion and not compete for attention, right?
