Cosmetics giant MAC is not one to shy away from collaborations - the more vibrant, more quirky, the better. Which is why it comes as no surprise that the brand has teamed up with Shanghai-based designer, Chris Chang of Poesia for a visual feast of a makeup collection. Just look at the intense kaleidoscopic beauty, would you.
The 14 piece collection, consisting of lipsticks, eyeshadows, cream-color bases, and pressed powder, is inspired by the ancient Chinese art form, Kunqu.
Not only is it refreshingly colourful, they make for stunning works of art to just sit pretty on your vanity - next to those artistic flacons. So even if you're not a fan of bright, popping colours for makeup, you can most definitely still appreciate the beauty behind it.
“My inspiration comes from the traditional aesthetics [and]...costumes from various countries, as well as the transformative world of art," said Chang "Colour is the integral fuel of my imagination and the spirit MAC and I share. This collaboration is a dream come true for the maximalists of the world.”
