Marie france asia is proud to introduce to you its team of experts in the fields of fashion, beauty, life&love, health and travel.
Rana Wehbe - Editor in chief
More than a job - acting as Editor in Chief for marie france asia since its inception in May 2013 – this women’s portal could just as well be my baby. Metaphorically of course. Having worked in the media (newspapers, tabloids, magazines…) for over 8 years covering everything from education to politics and sports – I finally landed where I belong: lifestyle and fashion! Former blogger at bonjoursingapore.com and an on/off guest on national TV, host of fashion week – there is rarely a dull moment in my life, or one that doesn’t involve fun and fashion.
Tarandip Kaur - Fashion/Beauty Writer
Fresh out of college with a degree in linguistics (yes, I’m a geek) and after a spate of freelancing writing gigs, I've found a permanent place with marie france asia as a Fashion & Beauty Writer - phew! Fashion has always been a dreamscape of sorts and manoeuvring through the field has been exciting albeit daunting at times. Writing has always been a passion and while I'm not penning down potential novel ideas, furiously typing on the next designer to watch or latest lipstick shade to covet is how I find solace.
Shannon Gallagher - Fashion/Beauty Writer
A Fashion Public Relations student, I also double as a Writer/Editorial Assistant at marie france asia. Needless to say, I'm into all things fashion and beauty - In fact I would probably class myself as a makeup addict with a stash of over 50 lipsticks,100 nail polishes, numerous eyeshadow palettes and still counting... I'm also a firm believer in Good Food (particularly sushi) and Good Company. Taking pictures of streetsyle is something I rather love to do, alongside other hobbies such as attending exhibitions, watching old movies and lounging on the beach with a good book.
Diya-Maya Tsering Bhalla -Food/Health and Travel Writer
Vocal, opinionated and enthusiastic, I always knew I was born to be a journalist! A self-professed movie buff, vagabond, food lover, beginner yogi and an avid reader – there is (almost) nothing I wouldn’t try my hands on. From playing five instruments and singing, memorising the lyrics to rap songs (yes, those cheesy ones) to doing volunteer work with kids in Russia, I’ve also recently started making my own natural beauty products and home remedies. Between studying and covering food and health-related topics for marie france asia, I hope to do more social work focusing on women and children in need around the world, through travel, my writing and hands-on volunteering.
Lindsay Poui-Di - Fashion Tech/Lifestyle Writer and Translator
Passionate about fashion, new technologies, marketing and trend forecasting, I am determined to leave my print in the Fashion Marketing world! I am especially curious and fascinated by the new ways in which fashion meets technology and always on the lookout for fun and quirky scoops and the latest inventive technology which is revolutionizing the fashion world. Born in the Reunion Island, the multicultural and tropical nature of this French territory has affected me in more ways than one. After moving to Singapore, I joined marie france asia as a writer and also as translator to bring the best content of the original French magazine to our English-language readers in Asia. Me in 3 words? Curious, inventive and enthusiastic!
