Why: Grey Projects is proud to present 'Manner of Spitting', an exhibition of acts and interventions in public spaces. Curated by Justin Loke, 'Manner of Spitting' is part of Grey Projects' Young Curators Programme series.

This is the 2nd Annual Chris' Cafe Charity. This year they are ramping things up Gillman Barracks for 250 guests with The Cuban Brothers.
Come join for a night of superfly beats, riotus comedy, sensational music and jaw dropping action. All for a selfless cause!

Immerse yourself in an eclectic mix of deep, funky, tribal and soulful tunes from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, covering everything from vintage analog boogie, to new electronic & pop music.
This ain't your mom & pop's version of "World Music"! Tropical Temple is all about bringing raw energy and real culture, identity and rhythm of the global dance floor to Singapore. Your humble selectors have only this goal in mind: Expand your musical horizons and get your body moving!

Where: Esplanade on The Waterfront
Why: Esplanade is putting up a mega awesome show on friday as part of Dains Festival for FREE! Start your friday night with some salsa (7.30 pm) and ballroom samba (9.30 pm) with live music by Los Cucurrus and live dancing by Actfa and The Dance Sport Academy.
Fear not if you don't know how to salsa/ samba as there will be instructors to teach you dance steps. It's great for experienced dancers as they will be playing groovy hits from salsa giants Buena Vista Social Club, Willie Colon, Oscar de Leon and more with an international cast of musicians from Columbia, Singapore, Mexico, Japan and India.

Why: Regardless of whether you snowboard, mountain bike or surf yourself, come and be thrilled by the sense of travel, adventure, talent and craziness of these world class athletes and film makers, and the stories they bring to this outside beach cinema experience at The Tanjong Beach Club, Sentosa.
The three films selected to be screened over three separate nights are mutli award winning, with great stories and characters, showcasing ground breaking film making through cinematography, camera angles and techniques.
Host for the event is big wave surfer Mark Matthews from the hit show "The Crew".
