FOTD: Au Natural Summer Look

Soft purple eyeshadow and bronzed cheeks…Take a look as we recreate Reese Witherspoon’s subtle makeup look!
Even though we are firm believers in the smokey eye look – sometimes going au natural works best (especially at the beach). Actress and mother of 3, Reese Witherspoon ticks all the right boxes when it comes to subtle makeup. To get this look, use the Marc Jacobs eyeshadow palette in No.7, it has all the colours you’ll need. Start by applying a soft purple eyeshadow all over the lid – to deepen they eyes, gently blend a small amount of dark purple shadow into the crease. Make your eyes appear more awake by taking the lightest colour in the palette and applying it to the inner corners of your eyes. Don’t forget to apply some dark purple eyeshadow to your lower lash line to pull the whole eye look together. Finish it off with a bit of mascara and you’re good to go!
For the face, keep it simple with by applying a small amount of bronzer where the sun would naturally hit your face (forehead, cheeks and jawline). To give your cheeks a “just been pinched” effect, use a peachy blush.
Complete the look with nude lipstick and a warm pink gloss and you’ll be red carpet ready in no time!
