When it comes to anything fashion and beauty related – Rihanna undoubtedly does it best.
The 26-year-old singer has recently proved why she deserves her status as a fashion icon at the CFDA Awards, but we don’t know what is better, the dress, or the makeup.
To get the stars sultry smokey eyes and nude lips start off by applying a medium to heavy coverage foundation as your base. Then go on to contour your cheekbones – this will give your face a slimmer, more chizzled appearance. This look wouldn’t be complete without a touch of highlighter, so apply a golden-bronzed luminzer just above your cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose and on your chin.
For the eyes, begin by blending in a black cream shadow to your entire eyelid and on the lower lash line. Keep blending till the outer lines are not harsh, then apply a black eyeshadow over the top to set the entire look and ensure it lasts all day or night. Apply your favourite voluminous false lashes and you’ll be red carpet ready.
As the eye makeup is so bold, keep the lips simple by sporting a nude lipstick.
