Beauty Review: Laneige Brightening Sparkling Water range

Take a look at our verdict as we judge the new brightening collection from Korean beauty brand Laneige.
Do you suffer from dark and dry skin? Does your makeup get flaky in certain areas? If you answered yes to these questions then its time to give your skin a much-needed treat with the new Brightening Sparkling Water range from Korean beauty brand, Laneige.
How does it work? This particular range of products claims to help improve and even out your skin tone by promoting blood circulation whilst also brightening your skin by removing the dead cells lurking on the surface. The range consists of:
– Capsule Mist (approx. USD32 for 120ml): Start your day off right with the capsule mist, a mix of fresh sparkling water that has been infused with highly carbonated capsules to provide the skin with some much needed moisturizing. Perfect for those who don’t have a lot of time for a beauty routine, all you need to do is pop the two capsules in to the mist, wait for them to dissolve and then spray onto your tired skin whenever it is needed. The mist can be also be used at the end of your makeup routine to ensure your makeup stays in place all day.
– Pop Essence (approx. USD40 for 100ml): One of our personal favourites, the pop essence foam is like no other product we have tried. The cold carbonated foam offers a somewhat instantaneous facial. Quickly after application, the skin feels 10 times smoother, tighter, and cleaner. To apply, shake the product 3-4 times and then gently tap one pump of the foam onto your freshly washed skin, then sit back and watch the product work its magic.
Peeling Mask (approx. USD15 for 3 sheets): Give your skin a real treat in the luxury of your own home with the peeling mask. The mask rids the impurities in your skin whilst also replenishing your skins natural oils and water. Mix the water in the packet with the mask- when bubbles are formed remove the mask from its packaging and apply to your face for up to 15 minutes. Thereafter, Say bye-bye to dryness and hello to brighter, more radiant skin!
Our Verdict:
As a victim of dry, sensitive skin, I was hesitant to give these products a go. However, shortly after application it dawned on me that these products were nothing but miraculous! They left my skin feeling energized and the most hydrated it has ever been. Without an ounce of doubt, my skin definitely appears to be of a more even complexion. Not only does the range do wonders for my skin, but my face makeup stays on for longer without any worries of flaky patches throughout the day. I would recommend these products to anyone who, like me, suffers with a dry, uneven complexion. Which is why the Laneige brightening sparkling water range gets a 10/10 from me!
