L’Oréal goes gold!

It’s no secret that us girls love shiny stuff! And L’Oréal Paris seems to understand that. Dubbed “L’Or Sunset” (meaning The Golden Sunset), in homage to the setting sun – and that magical moment when the stars climb the steps of the Palais des Festival – this new collection has certainly caught our eye. So we couldn’t wait to test it even before it hits the Asian market in June!

We’ve been fantasizing for a while now about the return of black manicure. And here is! This glamorous version which combines ebony black and gold glitter is a success for it provides chic nail art without the need to be a DIY master!

This palette with a deep sparkly black shade is easy to wear and apply. We love the beveled foam tip which allows us highlight the eyes very easily. Perfect for creating a sultry smokey look.
Color Riche ‘Golden Black’ Eye shadow
We hesitated with the “Or Noir” or the ‘Black Gold’ version of the lipstick as we are not too sure about the golden swirls and dark shimmery effect on the lips. For us, red lipstick remains the most essential and eternally chic shade for the red carpet. This specific one is perfect and has good lasting power. Plus we love its silky and comfortable feel and texture.

Its older plain black version is already a top seller so what about this updated mascara with gold glitter? We think it’s ideal for summer evenings!
