Best Dressed of the Week: Li Bingbing in Zuhair Murad Couture

Move over Lily James, there is a new Cinderella in town! Chinese actress Li Bingbing wows us with her stunning look at this week's première of 'The Sea of Trees' in Cannes.
With Cannes Film Festival in full swing, and naturally all the biggest movie stars dolling up to climb those famous stairs, it was inevitable that our best dressed of the week was one of the attendees. After all, nothing beats the glamour which has become synonymous with this particular event.
Hollywood stars like Lupita Nyong'o and Cate Blanchett stepped up to the occasion and Bollywood divas like Katrina Kaif and Sonam Kapoor tried albeit too hard to impress, but it was Chinese actress Li Bingbing who won our overall vote. Decked in a perfectly-fitted baby blue Zuhair Murad Couture gown, the starlet looked a vision of elegance and glamour as she attended the première of 'The Sea of Trees' in Cannes.
While sheer dresses have been increasingly popular and seen on the likes of Beyoncé, JLo and Kim Kardashian recently at the Met Gala, Li Bingbing gives this trend a totally new makeover and makes it look classy with her understated rendition.
Whether it's the soft colour, the delicate embroidery, the beautiful shape - or just the Chinese actress's petite figure - even if we weren't big on flesh-baring gowns, we couldn't help but love the way she pulls it off effortlessly.
Although we would have preferred if she had ditched the chunky earrings and went for a softer makeup look, we still think that Li Bingbing nailed it in the style stakes.
