Milan Fashion Week FW15: Our favourite streetstyle looks
updated the 6 October 2015 à 23:20After New York and London – it was time for fashionistas to hit the shows – and the streets – in Milan. We bring you the most eye-catching looks we found.
If you ask us, minimalism is overrated. While the trend in fashion capitals New York and Paris is increasingly moving towards ‘less is more’, Italians on the other hand pride in the fact they can mix and match prints and colours like a pro.
No wonder then, that the streetstyle roundup at the F/W 2015 Milan Fashion Week reflected that love for vibrant looks and eclectic yet chic style.
The looks on the runways were rich – and so were those seen on fashionistas and industry insiders who flocked to Milan to watch the likes of Dolce&Gabbana, Gucci and Prada interpret this season’s trends with an added Italian flair. The result was as rich and interesting as we’d expect from such household names and fashion veterans.
As for the streets – statement coats, colour blocking, fashionable sneakers and fabulous accessories ruled. It made us realize how much we’ve missed cold weather just so we can rock such looks while keeping warm and stylish at the same time.
So, forget about that humid and hot Singaporean winter and get transported to the sunny and pleasantly cold Mediterranean weather with our pick of the favourite looks straight from the streets of Milan.
