If you’ve been having a hard time trying to pronounce the smorgasbord of designer names, here’s a little cheat sheet that will come in handy!

 With the commencement of fashion week in The Big Apple and the slew of runway shows that are streaming in faster than you can ever finish liking the front row snapshots and OOTDs of your favourite style icons, nailing the pronunciation of the plethora of designer names – and incredibly fancy last names – to a T have been nothing short of intimidating. I mean, nothing like the embarrassment of gushing over a new collection from Hai-di Slee-Mayn right? Heaven forbid that letter H be pronounced.

It is after all, a cardinal sin to mispronounce a notable designer’s name.

Before you commit yet another fashion faux pas, here’s a cheat sheet to expand your designer vocabulary and be fluent in Fashion. Do your due diligence and you’re on your way to climbing up the fashion ladder!
