OOTD from Marie France Asia: Fun with fringe

updated the 14 July 2015 à 18:31

Going by how much fringe has appeared on the runways, this week we’re embracing the trend head on but with a little sophistication thrown in.

Fringe has been strewn all over the runways right from last year’s shows to the current ongoing ones at New York, London and now Milan. Since it’s not going to go anyway, why not have a little fun with it?

However, instead, of taking the 70s fringe inspiration at face value, we’ve decided to inject a tinge of sophistication by going with a blush pink pencil skirt that has just the ideal amount of fringe – it’s neither too over powering nor too sparse. Pair that with a black crop top, some sleek pointed pumps and an equally elegant sling bag and you’ll be ready to sashay your way down the streets.

As for makeup, we’re all about keeping it neutral and minimal with this look. Now go forth and let those fringes fly!
