From Miss Colombia's glamourous win to stunning gowns and sometimes hilarious national costumes, here's a roundup of fashion moments at the Miss Universe pageant.
Felicitatión to Miss Colombia, Paulina Vega, for winning the coveted crown of the 2015 Miss Universe pageant!
The jaw-dropping 22 year-old has been modelling since the tender age of 8 and her hardwork paid off on that stage in Miami. It's seemingly ingrained in the Colombian beauty to walk the glamourous pageantry, considering she is the granddaughter of Elvira Castillo, Miss Atlántico 1953 (Colombia). Earning the highest points in all categories meant the brunette had to beat other equally beautiful ambassadors from around the world, including our very own Miss Singapore.
Rathi Menon sashayed in a bold, elaborate red gown by Spanish-Venezuelan designer, Alejandro Fajardo. Who would have guessed that inside this flattering tiered dress is a motorbike-riding, animal -saving 24 year-old. Her national costume is a starry, bedazzling golden outfit, which is a great improvement from our Merlion costume in 2008. The pageant's Best National Costume went to Miss Indonesia, Elvira Devinamira, with her amazing Borobudur temple-inspired dress and elaborate wings.
