updated the 17 August 2015 à 11:26For beauty addicts who are already wondering what looks will be all the rage this fall, here is our selection of makeup trends which beg to be copied!
THE SHEER COMPLEXION – ANTEPRIMA
The golden tan appeal is fading and the new translucent complexion has taken its place in vogue for several seasons now. The idea? To enhance the porcelain skin with dark red and velvety lips. Chic and timeless.
THE AQUA LOOK – AQUILANO
A blue lagoon, pop and flashy color, to break the “fall” codes. The idea? Because the eye is very prominent, the rest of the face is softened with fruity lips and delicate pink cheekbones.
AUBERGINE LIPS – BRANQUINHO
In a Gothic chic spirit, the lips are tinted in an aubergine shade. The idea? Overlay a little gloss on the color to make it shiny and just add a little black mascara on the eyelashes.
BICOLOR LIPS – CASTELBAJAC
A less tame and more unusual makeup look spotted on the Paris runways. The idea? To colour the upper lip in a beautiful orange hue and leave the bottom lip nude. You can even fade the natural lip colour slightly with a beige powder for maximum effect.
THE GLITTERY LID – CHANEL
The glitter is added for the catwalk but in a very chic and structured manner. The idea? From the inner corner of the eye until the outer corner, put the glitter on the entire eyelid. Highlight it with a black eyeliner along the lash of the lower eyelids and a dash of white kohl inside the eye.
THE SMOKY GLOSSY – DONNA KARAN
The smoky taupe makes its comeback on runways. The idea? This fall, we add some shine and a glossy finish. Why not a bit of glitter too?
THE SMOKY LOOK – ELIE SAAB
Again, the taupe shade is invited on the eyelids in an updates version and structured way. The idea? The shade is matte or slightly iridescent and does not touch the eyebrows. On the eyelid, the color gradates and a touch of very light blush is added to enlarge the eyes.
UNDERLINED EYES – KENZO
Just like a reverse eyeliner, the lower eyelid is emphasized in this look. The idea? With a black or charcoal gray pencil, draw a thick line along the lash line.
THE GRAPHIC EYELINER – LANVIN
Just like a pharaoh queen, the graphic eyeliner is all what’s needed. The idea? With a black pencil, get creative and map out a design then trace it with a thicker eyeliner. Beware though, the skin and lips should be left absolutely nude!
THE CAT EYE – LEONARD
A classic, this look always makes an impact by emphasizing the eyes beautifully. The idea? Like a cat’s eye, contour the eyes with a black eyeliner then add some white iridescent eyeshadow in the corners to bring out luminosity.
