    Belt your waist
    One of the simplest tricks in the book is to throw a belt on your waist. By cinching the most narrow part of your midsection, this technique creates a slender shape on any loose-fitting garment.

    Pump it up
    If you feel your legs need a little boost with a dress or a skirt, add some pumps or wedges to the mix—even the slightest heel can make a big difference in your muscle definition and She Knows notes that it can help give you better posture.
