Torii
Whiskey with a Japanese twist is what Torii offers to the table. Boasting the widest selection of Japanese whisky in town, Torii is a snazzy, modern-looking bar with Japanese-accented decorations (check out the samurai illustration on the wall!) You also can get a host of Japanese-style bar bites, including sizzling yakitori straight off the skewer, and gyoza filled with beef and foie gras.

44 Bar
This is one bar hard to nail down, but worth the hassle! The 44 Bar is a pop-up speakeasy bar that changes their location every couple of months. Interestingly, this Malaysian bar specialises in American craft spirits from artisanal distilleries, so you'll be able to order corn whisky (also known as moonshine), rye, and bourbon whisky if you want to stray a little from your usual Scotch!

The Whisky Bar
Boasting over a hundred labels of whiskey, this bar lives up to its name as one of the best whiskey bars in the region. It’s also a very classy and posh space, with plush leather armchairs, wooden furniture, moody lighting, and of course, a great selection of cigars to go with that glass in your hand. It’s also “beginner friendly”, as the bar offers beginner’s packages where you can sample a variety of single malts at half an ounce each.

Skullduggery
A bit of a back-alley find, Skullduggery is a grungy yet playful bar that specializes in creative concoctions such as Jack O’ Mai, which combines jackfruit and rum, as well as the Whisky Sour, a simple, yet tart and sweet drink that one can enjoy all night long. Just don’t let the metal skulls lined behind the cushioned seats scare you off!

The Ice Cream Bar
Here’s a rather unique entry: whisky, but in ice cream form! Located in Desa Sri Hartamas, The Ice Cream Bar has a good selection of boozy and regular flavours. From brandy-infused dark chocolate Smoked Cognac, XO-infused cranberry and beer, and classic run and raisin ice cream, you can have your after-work pick me up in a cone! Also, FYI--the Ice Cream Bar recently collaborated with The Singleton for a limited-time line of whisky-infused ice creams, so keep an eye out for more boozy collaborations!
