From flirty hemlines to loose street-inspired wear, this French label does it best!
The Parisians have been synonymous with effortless charm and elegance that emanates from their very core. They have a knack (or a little secret) for making the most casual outfit appear chic and ready to be flaunted at a dinner party in a way we absolutely can’t. That ability alone makes us yearn to relentlessly unearth the secret formula to dressing up – there has to be something they’re not telling us!
For now, we have Sinéquanone to guide us in the right direction. Hailing from the land of French elegance, the brand thrives on delivering a wardrobe of clothes that exudes the modern woman’s attitude to living. Taking on the sports influence by way of adorning the dresses with stripes, cutouts and bomber jackets has also proved to be a defining element for Sinéquanone.
The Spring Summer 2014 collection is no different. Silhouettes are straight up romantic and feminine with a myriad of A-line dresses, flirty skirts and plunging necklines. Our love for this brand stems from the simple idea that we can play with the pieces and dress them up accordingly for day or night. Believe it or not, versatility is key for our wardrobes!
Our Picks: Essentially, the SS14 collection has a delicate balance of soft feminine looks and tougher street-inspired wear. However, within the first scan of the lookbook, our eyes darted to a stunning black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline, which accentuates the glamourous but sporty vision. Pair that with subtle gold accessories and you would be ready for a decadent night out.
We also liked the pastel pink dress with a floaty hemline and a big bow going across the back that could again be worn for day or night. Nonetheless, white reigns supreme this season and we are enthralled by their seductive all white combinations from mesh-like pencil skirts to billowy dresses. Coupled with oversized jackets, it seems like our Spring Summer closet is close to being complete!
Lastly, construction and expertise remains the strong suit of Sinéquanone. And for that, we salute the brand that has brought exclusivity and a romantic flair at reasonable costs to consumers since the 70s.
The French always do it best! Oui!
