The 69th Met Gala definitely raised some eyebrows (just look at Rihanna’s getup), but it definitely surpassed our expectations when it came to hair and makeup.
This year’s Met Gala celebrates the opening of the exhibition “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between”, and once again, we aren’t surprised that “fashion’s biggest night out” has left many speechless – and not just from the bizarre head-turning outfits our favourite A-listers, supermodels and style icons rocked up in. While some dresses were indeed mind-boggling and questionable (as they always are each year), we were also blown away by the hair and makeup transformations some of these celebs flaunted on the red carpet.
