Best Dressed: Zoe Saldana
Zoe Saldana is known for taking risks on the red carpet - and for the 2016 Met Gala, she turned up in a spectacular head-turning Dolce & Gabbana gown with a lushly dramatic feathered train. For such a bold look, we're glad to see that it was pulled off immensely well.
Best Dressed: Sarah Jessica Parker
SJP decided against a gown and went for a comfortable all-white get-up that actually works, even in the midst of the overly showy pieces worn by others at the event. With her military-inspired coat, matching tank top and loose-fitting cropped trousers, the actress still managed to turn heads.
Best Dressed: Sofia Richie
Sofia Richie embraces the theme of the gala by incorporating shiny metallic hues in her outfit. But she does so with ease - jusy look at how confident and elegant she holds herself. With minimalistic accessories to boot.
Worst Dressed: Lady Gaga
Always surprising us one way or another, Lady Gaga has decided to rock up in fishnet stockings, killer platform heels, and... well, what looks like a circuit board plated in silver. Perhaps you've taken the theme of "fashion in an age of technology" a little too far, Lady Gaga.
Best Dressed: Willow Smith
The new brand ambassador for Chanel has got some tricks up her sleeves. We're loving her dark ensemble here, with a fitting cropped jumpsuit and a classy jacket embroidered with contrasting beads.
Best Dressed: Adriana Lima
Apparently Allison William has already worn this dress to another event just a month prior, but Adriana Lima looks fantastic in the contemporary get-up, with its flaring A-line skirt and floral motif.
Worst Dressed: Taylor Swift
We're not so sure about this one. Sure, the outfit fits the theme of the gala, but this is an unusual departure from Swift's typically feminine style. Reminiscent of a futuristic robot, we were left just a little bit blinded by this edgy silver snakeskin dress.
Best Dressed: Sienna Miller
Sienna Miller has stunned us with her golden strapless gown and her ever-perfect hair. Everything about her outfit impressed us - it is not every day you come across a woman who looks so chic and genuinely beautiful in an OTT light-reflecting dress.
Best Dressed: Karlie Kloss
Perhaps she conspired with Taylor Swift to don a cut-out dress on the same night. But unlike Swift, we think Karlie Kloss has hit the nail on the head with this floor-length all-white number. This one is a truly memorable dress.
Best Dressed: Katie Holmes
Rocking that 70s-inspired hair, Katie Holmes knows just how to wow the crowd in her shimmering sequined Zac Posen dress. That jewelled Cartier choker definitely completed her look.
Worst Dressed: Kim Kardashian
We think Kim is trying hard to imitate Brienne of Tarth... if Brienne lived in a futuristic city on some distant planet. Just look at that intensely reflective Balmain breastplate - it's like a mirror. Will someone just hand her a sword and put her in a spaceship?
Best Dressed: Kate Hudson
Kate Hudson in this Atelier Versace cut-out dress makes for a very fairytale-esque vibe. The starlet looks every inch a regal princess.
Worst Dressed: Rachel McAdams
We aren't convinced that this sheer dress flatters Rachel McAdams in the slightest. The top half of her looks pretty charming, with its starlight shimmer, but then it gets a little too disorientating past the hips. Are those words? Are we meant to be reading that swirling passage, or are we meant to be ogling those legs hidden beneath that veil?
Best Dressed: Nicole Kidman
Dressed in a bewitching fortune teller-esque gown by Alexander McQueen, Nicole Kidman looked every inch an enchantress. Who knew anyone could look so glamorous in a sparkling sheer cape?
Worst Dressed: Madonna
Like Nicole Kidman, we think Madonna might be trying to channel her inner sorceress, too. But Madonna, honey, we don't know if the BDSM look is typical of a magician.
Worst Dressed: Saoirse Ronan
The Irish actress has left us scratching our heads with her oddly kooky choice of dress. The white gown sports a butterfly motif that seems more than a little out of place, seeing as the dress is trimmed with pink and black ostrich feathers. She looks a little bit like an elegant feather duster.
Worst Dressed: Ciara
Ciara rocked her inner chandelier this year, with a silver wig and risque skin-exposing gown. The custom H&M dress, studded with Swarovski crystals, looked interesting enough, but the hair.
Best Dressed: Amber Heard
Cue the wolf whistles! The radiant Amber Heard blew us away with her silky gold wrap gown. You can't deny that the plunging neckline and cinched waist does wonders to her feminine silhouette.
Worst Dressed: Emma Stone
Emma, we love you, and we love that you've gone brunette for the Met Gala, but we're not sure the gown flatters your beautiful body. This Gladiator-esque outfit, courtesy of Prada, looks almost ridiculous with its thick floral embellished corset.
Best Dressed: Beyoncé
Queen B is probably the only person alive who can pull this Givenchy bubblegum latex dress off. We are totally in love with the fun and whisical vibe that this embellished outfit exuded at the gala.
