Just before she embarks on her maternal leave, the gorgeous and heavily-pregnant actress chats with us about her marital joy, future plans and fashion moments…

Just a few weeks ago – while indulging in the Singaporean edition of the chic picnic that is ‘Diner en Blanc’ we had the pleasure of chatting with one of Singapore’s renowned actresses, Fann Wong.

The heavily-pregnant beauty was attending the event as the guest of Marie France Bodyline for she was recently named as the latest  representative of the slimming powerhouse.

Looking graceful in her all-white (technically off-white) ensemble, Fann was clearly shinning just like any mother-to-be who is getting ready to have her first child with all the excitement imaginable.

As we wined and dined in the open, by the shores of Tanjong Beach and surrounded by people who gathered to celebrate love and peace among other things, we had a small chat with the stunning actress who shared about her excitement to be a mom, future plans, beauty tips and some of her best fashion moments among other things.

Here’s what she had to say…

Marie France Asia: This is your first pregnancy, how does it feel?

Fann Wong: So far so good. Very excited to meet my baby in one more month. I can’t wait to see my baby.

MFA: Did you have any exotic cravings throughout your pregnancy?

F.W: I was craving for cuttlefish, instant noodles, sashimi, white wine (because it’s so hot in Singapore) and champagne. It’s crazy.

MFA: You’re pregnant but you still look really fit. What regime do you follow?

F.W: I try to rest as much as possible. I do about 30-45 minutes of walk around the pool if I can but that was only toward the 3rd trimester because before that I tried to get total rest at home and be very careful.

MFA: You look glowing in the recent Demi Moore-esque photo (above) released for your latest collaboration with Marie France Bodyline slimming centre, how was  the experience of having such a photoshoot?

F.W: It  was a good experience as everyone made sure I felt comfortable and I’m happy with the result. This is something I’ve never tried before and will be a good keepsake to remember at this very precious moment of my life.

MFA: Beauty-wise, do you have any specific beauty products that you use?

F.W: During my pregnancy I try to use all-natural products as much as possible.

MFA: Are you planning to go back to work after giving birth?

F.W: I’ve been reading scripts now but I don’t know yet. I think I’ll just hold on and see how it goes after the birth. For now I just want to focus on enjoying the moment of having my baby in my belly.

MFA: You’ve been to a lot of international fashion weeks and fashion events, what was the most memorable for you?

F.W: The most memorable was when Karl Lagerfeld came down personally for the Chanel event and of course Milan Fashion Week. We went to Milan last September and met Etro’s family, Kean Etro and Veronica. These were the two most memorable moments.

MFA: How did you prepare for your pregnancy and any tips for mothers to be?

F.W: Just enjoy your pregnancy. Read up a lot because there’s a lot of information on the net. Most importantly be a happy mom; happy mom, happy baby.

MFA: Is it a boy or a girl or do you know?

F.W: I don’t know yet. I don’t mind as long as my baby is healthy

MFA: Would you want your kids to go into the industry?

F.W: I don’t know, acting is really tough. Of course I would prefer my baby to choose something else but because Chris [husband and actor Christopher Lee] and I love this line so much, so I guess our baby might have to follow this line.
