L’Américaine: Tory Burch unveils the trailer for upcoming short film

Directed by Glee actress, Dianna Agron and starring Margaret Qualley, watch as a Frenchman enthuses about his American love interest in Paris.

In celebration of Tory Burch opening her first flagship boutique in Paris, the American designer crafted a special collection of pieces that are all round flirty and feminine with hints of American sporty elements. The clothes were one thing but Tory Burch decided to go one step further by creating a short film to depict the sartorial side of the clothes and of an American brand finding its place in Paris. And that resulted in the short film, titled, L’Américaine.

Written and directed by Glee actress, Dianna Agron, the 30-second trailer sees Margaret Qualley, the daughter of actress Andie MacDowell, wistfully traipsing around as a dashing Frenchman enthuses how he has become enraptured by her beauty. Taking inspiration from the 1951 classic An American in Paris, the short carries a wonderful joie de vivre that you can't help but feel mesmerised by, which partly has to do with Qualley's charming persona.

Set to be released on 1 September, we're definitely eager to see how the Frenchman's love interest pans out. It could only be good.
