Tory Burch to launch sportswear line
The countdown begins for Tory Burch’s highly anticipated Tory Sport line. Fitness fanatics take note.
Tory Burch is expanding her fashion empire. The designer behind the iconic Reva ballet flats is set to launch her much anticipated sportswear line, named Tory Sport, sometime later this year.
The athleisure collection will consist of stylish tennis ensembles, sleek tracksuits, surf suits, golfwear and all kinds of sportswear that you won’t be ashamed to be seen in outside of the gym.
The launch comes at a time when women’s sportswear is all the rage and brands like Victoria’s Secret and Lululemon have cottoned on to the trend by launching fitness apparel lines of their own.
Tory, who made plans for a sports line clear from the start, is the right person to helm the new project. An avid tennis player, the designer has in the past collaborated with Fitbit for accessories and will no doubt be bringing her signature colours and classic designs to a stylish sportswear collection that will be the costume de rigueur at gyms, tennis courts and fitness centres everywhere.
