Why: The Singapore River Festival is back for a 2^nd year to inject life into the Singapore River with art installations and performances. The three-day festival is also paying homage to the lifeline of the island as tribute to our nation’s 50^th birthday.

Wine Fiesta 2015

Where: 80 Collyer Quay, Clifford Square
Why: Wine lovers shouldn’t miss this three-day wine extravaganza featuring 70 wineries and 350 wines from all over the world. Visitors can also enjoy gourmet fare and music while knocking back a couple of glasses.

Scary Scary Night

Singapore Tennis Evening

Where: 10 Bayfront Avenue, MBS, MasterCard Theatres
Why: Sports stars and pop stars come together during this glitzy night to celebrate the tennis achievements of the WTA Finals. British singer Paloma Faith will be gracing the event with her powerhouse vocals. Definitely a night that shouldn’t be missed.

Hermes Leather Forever Exhibition
When: Till Sunday, 13 December
Where: 6 Bayfront Ave, ArtScience Museum & 1 Empress Place, Asian Civilisation Musuem
Why: Experience the crafting process of the French luxury brand’s famous bags in this up-close Hermès showcase. Craftsmen from the Parisian workshop will also be present to demonstrate the art of leather working by creating some the iconic bags on site. In addition to the lead exhibition, Hermès’ Little Room of Wanders will be held at the Asian Civilisations Museum. The secondary exhibition will contain objects from the Emile Hermès museum in Paris.

Cirque du Soleil - Totem

Don't sit around twiddling your thumbs this week! From sporting to shopping, the island is buzzing with activities this week.

Brace yourselves for big things are happening in the little red dot this week.

For starters, the WTA Finals will finally be arriving on our shores along with tennis stars from Simona to Maria. The hot event will not only feature intense competition but intense entertainment as well. British powerhouse Paloma Faith will be performing at the MasterCard Theatres in honour of the event so you know you'll be having the best of both worlds.

If you’re not into sports, then what about spending the evening strolling along the Singapore River and enjoying the Singapore River Festival? The river will be brought to life by art installations and performances that are sure to wow you.

The annual Wine Fiesta and Club 21 Bazaar are also happening over the weekend, ensuring that foodies and fashionistas are not left behind. The only worry you’ll have is not having enough time.
