Flea Party
When: 1 - 30 June; 1 - 7pm
Where: Lucky Plaza, #06-48B, 304 Orchard Road
Why: Yes, it seems that Singapore is never short of flea markets. Need to grab a bargain? Head to the 6th floor of Lucky Plaza this month and join the fray. Have too much stuff lying around at home? Set up your own makeshift store and earn some extra moolah by selling your pre-loved items! You might even make a few new friends at the event.

Aviva Superfundae 2016
When: Saturday, 4 June; 10am - 9pm
Where: The Meadow, Gardens By The Bay
Why: In the everyday rush of modern life, it’s easy to forget just how fun it is to put down your phone or tablet, slap on some sunscreen, and get outside with friends and family. So this Saturday, head on down to Gardens By The Bay and do just that at the Aviva Superfundae 2016. With 30 activities, including everything from an inflatable obstacle course with a mega candy cannon that blasts gummy candy to a ‘beer dash’ for the adults, this celebration of play will surely put a smile on your face.

Sky High Brunch

Where: CÉ LA VI, SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands, Tower 3, 1 Bayfront Avenue
Why: Back by popular demand is the best summer weekend event: Sky High Brunch at CÉ LA VI. A brunch for the serious adventure party seeker (i.e. not your grandma’s brunch), expect free flow champagne, cocktails, a gourmet spread of ceviche and skewers, and a dip in the pool to the beats of DJ’s Brendon P and Joshua P.

NANTA (Cookin’)

Where: Resorts World Theatre at Resorts World Sentosa, Harbourfront
Why: In one of Korea’s most popular shows since its premier in 1997, Masterchef meets Stomp as the main characters (or, chefs) swap the stage for the kitchen and musical instruments for utensils. Catch NANTA (Cookin’) at Resorts World Sentosa this weekend for a creative spin on the traditional Korean instrumental performance, Samulnori.

Pink Dot 2016

Why: The special non-profit movement is back, and we’re sure the turn out will be better than ever. Pink Dot strives to open the minds and the hearts of the people of Singapore by promoting an inclusive society - love and acceptance is what everyone deserves. The Providore Sensational Superfoods Cooking Class

Manatee Madness

Where: Amazon Flooded Forest, River Safari, 80 Mandan Lake Road
Why: Grab your kids and head over to the River Safari’s Amazon Flooded Forest aquarium, where massive manatees are kept happy and healthy. Enjoy feeding sessions and presentations by the expert aquarists, snap photos with the adorable manatee mascot, and get creative at the art and craft sessions.
