Wolf Alice
Stealing nominations from the Grammys, the Brits and the Mercury Prize, indie-rock group Wolf Alice has carved out it's own niche in the indie music scene. With their dazzling combination of grunge, rock and folk influences, it certainly seems like the Wolf Alice would steal the spotlight in the coming Laneway festival.

With layered chugging guitars, synthetic strings, vintage keyboard sounds and impressionistic lyrics, The War On Drugs has made a name for itself with it's fourth record 'A Deeper Understanding In August' . Receiving raving reviews from Pitchfork, The War On Drugs will undoubtedly make an excellent addition to the Laneway lineup

Sylvan Esso

Billie Eilish
Garnering praise from the likes of Vogue, Interview magazine and Elle, sixteen-year old Billie Eilish is the youngest artiste in the Laneway lineup. With her penchant for songwriting and inimitable style, Billie will definitely be a Laneway 2018 standout

Aldous Harding
With her charisma, tenacity and enticingly shrewd wit, New Zealand artist Aldous Harding is set to rock out at Laneway 2018. Her latest album exhibits her ability to shapeshift through a variety of roles like a chanteuse, balladeer and folk singer, Aldous Harding certainly seems like a crowd favourite with her twisted humour, hubris and quiet horror. Many would credit her meteoric rise to the public eye with her haunting rendition of 'Horizon' on 'Jools Holland'

Amy Shark
With her sleeper hit 'Adore' peaking charts at the Aria's and triple j Hottest 100, Amy Shark has proven herself as the real deal. Her brooding come-of-age track won hearts on her home ground in Australia as well as the rest of the world

Heads up, indie music buffs: the 2018 lineup for the Laneway Music Festival has just been confirmed.

What started out as live music at a hole-in-the-wall in 2005, has since burgeoned into a festival of high hopes for left-field music lovers. Dedicated in outdoing itself every year, Laneway has consistently delivered seminal melodies that deviate from the norm. It seems that 2018 will be no exception.

In what appears to be the most diverse lineup in recent years, Laneway has taken the plunge to include a dizzying selection of indie talents. Featuring Anderson. Paak and the Free Nationals, Bonobo, Loyle Carner, Mac Demarco, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Slow Dive, The Internet and others, it seems that 2018 Laneway would be the best yet!

Cosmically embracing new emerging talents, The Laneway Festival has undoubtedly proven its unimpeachable indie credibility and forward-thinking disposition. Ranging from alt rock to synth electro-pop, Laneway has certainly pulled all the stops for 2018

The Singapore Laneway Festival 2018 will take place on 27 January 2018 at The Meadow, Gardens By The Bay. Tickets will go on sale from Thursday, 5 October 2017.
