Get the Look: Isabel Marant's military chic

Bring back combat accents to your daily style with a look that is fashion forward and exceptionally on point. No commander will be disappointed here.
While we're glad to see that military buttons and straps are coming back in full force, we're thankful they're less severe.
As seen at Paris Fashion Week 2015, Isabel Marant brought back a snappy casual style with combat details. Gone are the days where military-inspired wear dominated the emo subculture, it has now slowly trickled its way back into mainstream fashion as a sharp accent.
Here, we've put together a chic ensemble inspired by the Isabel Marant FW15 collection with a loose fitting crepe blouse from Etro with Native American prints and embellishments suitable for our hot weather. Then tuck your blouse into a high-waisted military pencil skirt from rockabilly brand Hell Bunny. The skirt should have a single vent at the back for movement. If needed, thread a thin black belt below the accents to further accentuate your hour glass figure.
Slip your feet into a pair of calf skimming military-inspired boots from Forever 21 to complete your ensemble. Lastly, paint your nails a pearly shade of beige to give the look a softer feminine touch.
Now fall in and give our gallery a quick glance for ideas on sprucing up your wardrobe - do we hear a yes mdm?
